Vale-Smith defines his musical style as an 'introverted playground', crafting tangled and busy dance music that, as far as Vale-Smith is concerned, is the purest escapism there is. 

Inspired by the bouncy rhythms & bright melodies of the Future Bass/IDM/Techno/House music that shaped him, he learned how to make beats on Garageband at 17 years old.

This journey lead to projects that would inch closer to bringing forward the energetic spark that Vale had in his mind from the start. With each record, he's exploring sound design in a new way. Whether it's through harsh vocal chops or with more introspective and warm sounds, Vale is always confidently expressing the production chops he's gained since he started, making complex and dazzling beats occasionally leaning towards IDM.

Vale-Smith's most recent work 'If You See A Blur...' is streaming everywhere now, but the story is soon to continue as Vale is gearing up to release an all new body of work this summer. Highlighting the increased attention towards the abundance of cheerful boundlessness that the endless musical space inherent in instrumental beat-work allows for.
